Rich Tasks - Term 1 Secondary 1 and 2 are using Thursday afternoons to do activities such as learning to become a dance tutor, makeover of the school library, football skills and Dynamic Youth Rich Tasks. Christy Anderson is helping to coach some of the pupils on S1-2 to become dance tutors. It has been very progressive with the pupils taking the initiative to lead the group and also making up their own dance routines. Dano Macdonald is coaching another group of pupils to learn more about football skills. Good progress is also being made there. Laura Maynard (Art Teacher) is assisting with another group of pupils to oversee the makeover of the existing library. The pupils have decided on a colour scheme with input from the rest of the school. Also a mural designed by the pupils will be on one wall of the library. Erica Clarke (Community Education) is assisting with a group of pupils to achieve The Dynamic Youth Award. The group have been working on the project of getting The Hut back up and running by organizing a social for all of the Secondary. |

The Arts and Crafts group along with Miss Maynard had a morning out at An Lanutair. They took part in a music and art workshop and made some very interesting musical instruments.
Fund-raising
Secondary 2 held a car wash and sale of work on Saturday 26th February.They raised the amazing total of £525.17 This money goes toward their school trip in June.
