Netball Tournament Success!

We all had a great time at the Netball Tournament up at the Sports centre.  3 teams took part and one of the teams were the runners-up.  Well done girls, you all played amazingly well!

Lucky 2B Here

On Friday 27th January P5/6/7 pupils and some members of staff took part in defibrillator training. This was delivered by volunteers from the Lucky 2B Here charity.

Young Leader Awards 2015

During the course of P7, our pupils participated in the Young Persons Leadership Programme. They learned many new skills in organisation, co-operation and leadership and enjoyed using their skills with they younger pupils in the school. P7s were awarded their certificates during our prize-giving in June.

Bikeability Awards

At our prize-giving in June, our departing P7 were presented with their ‘Bikeability’ certificates for successfully completing cycle training. Thank you to Eric Macleod from Active Schools who helped with the delivery of this training.

The children in EP7 have created a beautiful hamper full of Fair-trade goodies as part of their learning during Fair-trade Fortnight.  This is an enterprise project that also ties in with their social studies topic on the rainforest.  Letters have been sent home with children today that allow parents and others to purchase tickets.  They …

P7 Trip to Alltnacriche Outdoor centre.

P7 pupils enjoyed their school trip to Alltnacriche Outdoor Centre in Lynwilg, just outside Aviemore. They took part in a range of activities which included: Archery, Orienteering, Mountain Biking, Aerial Runway, Survival skills such as fire-lighting and shelter building.
