Netball Tournament Success!

We all had a great time at the Netball Tournament up at the Sports centre.  3 teams took part and one of the teams were the runners-up.  Well done girls, you all played amazingly well!

Book Committee Award 2015

Young Leader Awards 2015

During the course of P7, our pupils participated in the Young Persons Leadership Programme. They learned many new skills in organisation, co-operation and leadership and enjoyed using their skills with they younger pupils in the school. P7s were awarded their certificates during our prize-giving in June.

Bikeability Awards

At our prize-giving in June, our departing P7 were presented with their ‘Bikeability’ certificates for successfully completing cycle training. Thank you to Eric Macleod from Active Schools who helped with the delivery of this training.

Scholastic Book Fair

A very successful Scholastic Bookfair was run by GP6/7 as a Scholastic Business School.  It went beyond just literacy and it encouraged the pupils to develop real-world skills including financial awareness, creative thinking, responsibility and teamwork. Charity Bake Sale

Ellie Macdonald and Erin Macleod from GP7  organised a special bake sale to raise funds to support a Cerebral Palsy charity. They worked very hard to prepare their baking and it was very well received by the pupils when they held their sale at break-time today. They raised an hugely impressive £180.00 for their charity.

P7 Trip to Alltnacriche Outdoor centre.

P7 pupils enjoyed their school trip to Alltnacriche Outdoor Centre in Lynwilg, just outside Aviemore. They took part in a range of activities which included: Archery, Orienteering, Mountain Biking, Aerial Runway, Survival skills such as fire-lighting and shelter building. GP6/7 Japan

GP6/7 spent part of last term learning about Japan. We were comparing the lifestyle, climate, religion and customs of Japan with Scotland.  We tried some sushi and also used chopsticks.
