Rural Sports 2015

Well done to our boys and girls teams who took part in the Rural Sports last week. They all did really well and finished as runners-up to Stornoway Primary in the section for schools of more than 50 pupils.

Sports Day Fun!

On our third attempt, we were able to go ahead today with our Sports Day this morning at the Stornoway running track. Thank you to all the parents and other families who attended to cheer on the children in their races.

Cuach na Cloinne – Live Scores

Today, our Gaelic football team are competing in Cuach na Cloinne in Inverness. This is an annual football competition organised by Comunn na Gaidhlig for Gaelic Medium Pupils. Scholastic Book Fair

A very successful Scholastic Bookfair was run by GP6/7 as a Scholastic Business School.  It went beyond just literacy and it encouraged the pupils to develop real-world skills including financial awareness, creative thinking, responsibility and teamwork. A team of P6 pupils from Sgoil a’ Bhac were competing today in the Western Isles heat of the annual EuroQuiz competition.
